Epoch COVID Update May 15th, 2020

These are some of the ways we are continuing to serve our community

Epoch continues to offer weekly art challenges and are scheduling other Zoom events and activities. Look for our featured artists, artist demos and Epoch student art work on our website. We will be offering on line art kits for at home projects starting next week and also launching a fundraiser to help help out with income lost due to our shut down. We continue to reach out to the community and beyond to forge new partnerships and seek out grant opportunities. Reach out and check in! We’d love to hear from you. info@epocharts.org

These are some of the ways Epoch Arts is protecting our Epoch family

As an organization serving our local community, Epoch is taking all precautions possible to prioritize the health and safety of youth and their families, as well as our staff, volunteers and teaching artists. Though this has changed the way we run our programs and activities it has not changed our commitment to serving our youth through the arts.

To protect our students and staff and to prevent further spread of the virus, all events and programming continue to be temporarily closed. Please continue to check our website for updates on Epoch programs and events as well as resources in regards to the COVID-19 outbreak. We are currently evaluating our summer session program. We will seek direction for future programming based on the guidelines from the governor as CT moves forward in the next phase of reopening the state. We’ll have another update by the end of May and share our summer plans.

To do our part in protecting our Epoch family and to help curb the spread Epoch will be adhering to the guidelines set out by state and local public health agencies, including: the practice of “social distancing”, limiting and/or postponing programs, and canceling events.  Here is the link from Governor Lamont with updates and info:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1ndqQ-3nMY&feature=youtu.be

We hope that you’re taking all measures to stay healthy and are finding creative outlets in this Stay at Home time. Take care. Epoch Staff
